I don’t know what the weather has been doing in Seattle the last few days, but I think I can speak for Portland when I say that we’re all feeling a little mellow as we welcome in this stormy weekend. (Insert cheesy “weather girl” joke here). These gray skies and chilly winds are making for perfect conditions to turn up Goldini Bagwell’s new single Chemtreals, produced by Chase Moore and Hippie Sabotage of California. This track pairs clever lyrics with a smooth, chill beat that is just perfect for this gloomy, Northwest evening. What really caught my attention on this track was how well written Goldini Bagwell’s verses were. I haven’t heard a lot of this artist’s tracks, but will definitely be keeping an eye out for him now. All three artists involved in this song did an excellent job. Everything fits together and flows beautifully; this is not a song you’re tired of after a few times through, and I’m excited to see where Goldini Bagwell goes next.
