The Come Up boys, also known as Franchise and Vinny Radio are no stranger to the Northwest. The two Pittsburgh MC’s got a taste of Washington and Oregon last year mini-touring with the Respect My Region crew. They stopped in Ellensburg, hit up Seattle, and then headed down to Portland to rock a few different crowds. More recently they were on the Blue Slide Park Tour with Mac Miller, and began to receive rave reviews about their performances, and were even given the title “Most Likely to Perform a Perfect Set!” They will again be joining Mac Miller in the spring on the Macadelic tour, which will mainly be a tour of the east coast. MTV Jams recently sat down with a few artists from Pittsburgh to talk about their local scene and the Pittsburgh culture. Below is a video from MTV jams featuring The Come Up and other Pittsburgh artists giving their point of view on the subject. One region to another, salute.
