I’ll be honest, I don’t listen to other subgenres of dance music outside of trance very often, so when I do, it’s for some genuinely good tunes. Alyx Ander is a true rising star from Miami, pumping out great releases with support from artists like Nicky Romero, Avicii, Sam Feldt, and more.
You can really feel the vibe with his newest collaboration, “Wake Up For The Night”, featuring vocals from Caroline Pennell, who was a Top 8 contestant on The Voice back in 2013.

The feeling this gives me is very Miami, and it’s clear that Alyx Ander pays attention to detail. He already has a number of stellar tracks released and has been featured on podcasts from superstars like Tiësto, Pete Tong, Sander van Doorn, Don Diablo, Tom Swoon, and much more. It’s clear that the only direction is up for this young producer. I mean, how often does TIME Magazine give a shout out to a dance music producer?
Hopefully, Alyx Ander will make a stop in Seattle soon! It looks like he hasn’t had many live shows, but I have a feeling that’s about to change very soon.
