Top Hip-Hop Tracks From November #tbt

A lot of these records deserve their own post, but our best of and top hip-hop tracks list have been getting a great response from our viewers. I apologize to any hip-hop artists that has emailed us anything over the past few months. I recently relocated to Lynnwood and traded the self-employed lifestyle to working a 9-5.

I started Respect My Region in college and have spent hours and hours promoting the music from this beautiful region and I feel terrible that I fell off over the past few months.

When you’re dealing with life’s twist, turns, and dodging the tax man, you don’t always get to do the things you enjoy. On Thanksgiving weekend I went through the inbox (what I could listen to) and wanted to highlight some of the dopest submissions currently sitting in the unread pile. This list is technically ‘November’ but may include a little bit of October…and earlier.

Big ups to everyone sending stuff in, it truly humbles me to have built a platform people wish to be apart of. Now, onto some top hip-hop tracks from all over the Northwest!

Top Hip-Hop Tracks from the PNW (November..ish)

Mikey Vegaz – One Ways

As solid as always, Mikey goes in over a beat that easily could have been scraped off If Your Read This It’s Too Late. One of the stand out records off of Mikey’s Confessions of A Hustler.

King Leez – Missin

New name, new gang…same Leezy. King Leez announces his Black Umbrella affiliation with the release of ‘Missin,’ a real record with bars!

Romaro Franceswa – Toy Soldiers

We finally got Mr. November Rovember on here during his month. Romaro is one of the dopest lyricist/artists from the Northwest region, period. As long as the marketing is straight I see big things for this man.

L.C. Jetson – Just Do It

This beat is dope, visual is clean, and L.C. goes in. Was vibing with this one…can I come ride in the back of the jeep next time y’all rolling through the city?

Fearce Vill – Low Key

New joint from former Dyme Def rhymer, Fearce Vill, sounds like a School Boy type jam. Bean One has been progressively getting doper and doper behind the boards and this record is testament to the progression.

Joey Kash – All Night

Joey Kash is a name I’ve been hearing around the town for a minute, dude probably thinks we’ve been sleeping on him but definitely was rocking with this one. When the screen would freeze pictures on this video it was kind of annoying but Joey’s slower flow had me feelin’ the track overall.

Maclay – Until I See Blood

J-Key – Not You

Everett, WA’s J-Key comes through with an upbeat banger to remind y’all that he isn’t you! This is a fun one from one of the hardest grinders in greater Seattle.

Malcolm Rebel – Insomnia

Malcom Rebel has put out his share of dope music the past few years but this jam has a nice ride to it. I don’t know if its the grey sky Seattle weather but this has me bobbing slowly back and fourth.
