With the internet at everyone’s fingertips, fame can be an overnight success with one video. Blimes Brixton and Gifted Gab went viral with their video for “Come Correct.” The popular Facebook page Born Famous reposted their video and within the first-day views reached the millions and is currently sitting at over five million views.
With their newfound virality, Brixton and Gab have started to take over the world. Recently, they popped over to the Wake Up Show to show those guys how they spit. Blimes gives some insight into how her new track, “Hot Damn” featuring the legendary Method Man came to be. They close out part one with a live rendition of “Come Correct,” and bodied the beat with a tit-for-tat freestyle.
Part two gets deep with some call-in questions and a forest fire of cutthroat bars. They also relay the heartwarming tale of how these two talented emcees met each other; and how they got into a brawl the same day.
