DJ Famous dives into trap music with his “Fame Goes Trap” mixtape.

DJ FamousDJ Famous is a young DJ from Seattle that has been spinning at some major events in the local hip-hop and basketball scenes. His most recent events featured a few pro basketball players from this area and earlier this year he performed with DJ Drama! Most recently, Jamal Crawford, Brandon Roy, and Toney Wroten have been attendees or hosts at events Famous has been performing at.

Famous, aka Moe Jamerson, primarily DJs with hip-hip and rap music and is one of the better local guys I’ve seen live. The first time I saw him perform was at Summer Jam 2013 and he was the only guy playing songs that weren’t really “played out” yet. He is a great mixologist and has vast knowledge of RnB, hip-hop, and Rap. After a little bit of convincing he began listening to more EDM and took an interest in trap after just one or two songs. He recently decided to try producing a trap mixtape and on July 23rd he dropped “Fame Goes Trap” on his soundcloud.

My favorite song from his first round of attempts at making trap music is “The Dark Knight” but I don’t necessarily know if the entire song is trap, dubstep, or rap. Famous is looking for feedback, helpful comments, or pretty much any type of constructive review to help aid him with producing more dope music.
