Favorite Weed Strains of 2017 - Featuring Falcanna, TreeHawk Farms, Gabriel, and More

Celebrate 2017 With These Weed Strains Ft. Gabriel, Treehawk Farms, + More!

I take it upon myself to try as many farms as possible for quality control purposes. There are many farms that are growing tremendous products, and I wanted to highlight some of my favorite cannabis strains of 2017. Wedding Cake definitely stood out as a top strain of 2017. I bought a half ounce of it and cherished every single flower down to the last stem. Every other strain on this list knocks it out of the park for various reasons.

These strains are in no particular ranking or order and this list isn’t meant to rate any of these products and farms over one another. I just wanted to talk about the dankest shit I’ve smoked in 2017 and help people learn a bit about them.

Wedding Cake – Lifted Cannabis Co. & Exotikz

Wedding Cake is a sweet and minty flower that spawned from the Cookies family. Both of Exotikz and Lifted grew a tremendous cut, so they both had to get a shout out. This hybrid is the best way to bring in any new year.

 Rainbow Sherbet & Sunny G – Gabriel

Rated Leafly’s best flavor of 2017.  This strain is the best nightcap I’ve experienced all year. Hints of berry sorbet and a powerful lasting body high. Despite the name, this isn’t a Cookies strain. It’s a cross between Blackberry and Champagne.

Sunny G is a bubbly indica-hybrid that resulted from crossing Gummo with the Sherbet. It smells like orange bubble gum and is a delicate mood elevator.

Kush Master – Sweetwater Farms

My favorite smelling weed of the year, Kush Master smells like coffee and chocolate. What else do you need to know?

 Sherbbles – Subdued Excitement

A cross between Fruity Pebbles and Sunset Sherbet, This cannabis strain is one of the best lookers in the garden. Beautiful fluffy triangles with several shades of green, vivid trichomes and hairs reminiscent of a bowl of Fruity Pebbles cereal.

Best Strains

Dutch Haze – Falcanna

As you can tell from the list I’m an indica and a hybrid guy, but this is one sativa that stuck with me. This strain shot me into orbit. My brain was wandering through time and space. Vivid daydreams and imaginative bursts that made for awesome writing sessions. This strain is less productive than most, but the creativity Dutch Haze sparks is fun.

Black Afghan – Treehawk Farms

TreeHawk Farms never disappoint. This strain is a cross between Black Domina and Afghan Kush. This strain will creep up and down your body slowly as it relaxes your mind and body.
