J. Cole is releasing his next album 4 Your Eyes Only on December 9th. The track list hit iTunes yesterday and the internet was buzzing! This morning I woke up to previews from new music videos floating around on Facebook as well as word of a behind the scenes documentary. Much like the HBO special Cole did post 2014 Forest Hills Drive release, the documentary follows Cole and his team in the studio during the creation process. We also get a special look into J. Cole Eyez on the thought process behind the music.
J. Cole – Everybody Dies
All I can say is I think I’m as excited as everyone else. Forest Hills Drive is still a staple in my music rotation and has probably held up longer than any other release over the last year.
J. Cole – False Prophets
I get a genuine ‘classic hip-hop’ feeling from these visuals and music. J. Cole is single handily carrying the hip-hop torch in mainstream America. This man is ready for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame if you ask me.
