Seasoned Seattle street rapper Jesse James is back! We last caught the rapper on our blog in our best of April post on the Huey P assisted ‘Addicted’ music video. After a brief stint locked up and 90 days on house arrest, Jesse is starting to release new music. The first record the public gets is the RMR exclusive, ‘I’m Back.’
‘I’m Back’ is a hard hitting track that will be the first record on the upcoming H.A.M. (House Arrest Music) project. Somewhat reminiscent of classic Luda, the record is filled with fast moving hi-hats, dark synths, and ‘steal your bitch’ bars.
If you aren’t familiar with Jesse James music I’m sure you’ve seen the diamond cross chain and recognizable sideburns blazing a Seattle stage at some point. A true pillar to the Seattle hip-hop community, I constantly witness Mr. James sharing OTHER artists music on social media and in the crowd showing support at local shows. This kind of love being reciprocated to the local community is crucial and I hope other artists are able to follow suit.
