Macklemore and Ryan Lewis new song grabs Dj Premier and KRS-One for ‘Buckshot.’ This marks the newest release from Macklemore and Ryan Lewis’s This Unruly Mess I’ve Made, which is out later this month. The Seattle emcee has taken quite a bit of heat lately for his White Privilege and being a ‘culture vulture pop artist.’ Although Macklemore has no need to prove the later to be false, Buckshot is a trip back to his hip-hop roots. Anyone who has followed Mack since his early days in Seattle know that Ben is nothing short of a true hip-hop artists. I have been critical at times of some of his ‘pop’ music, but just seeing the guest features on this record made me crack a smile. With all the influence he has gathered, he grabs two legends and throws them on a dope record. Check out Buckshot for yourself…
