This is going to be a big year for Macntaj. After releasing ‘Deception’ just two weeks ago, today the Seattle emcee releases a follow up called ‘Carnage’ that features buzzing Tri-Cities rapper Karma.
Macntaj usually lets his production do quite a bit of talking but ‘Carnage’ is more of a machine-gun lyrical assault. Not to understate substance from Mac, this record is just more so about spittin’. The M3 produced and Undercaste recorded audio onslaught isn’t lacking in overall quality.
Macntaj – Carnage ft. Karma
We haven’t kept quiet on our feelings about Macntaj ever since he released ‘Lightwaves’ last year. The man buzzed throughout the EDM community after being the only rap feature on Bassnectar’s album. Personally I’m really not an electronic music fan however, but local guys like Macntaj and Qreepz have made some crossover stuff I can dig.
Karma caught our eye a little over a year ago with his web cam freestyles on Facebook. The east-side rapper can straight up spit!
Initially impressed with his shares and views, I wondered when we would see a more established Seattle artist grab him for a feature. It looks like Macntaj beat a lot of locals to the punch and chose the perfect companion for a record like ‘Carnage.’
