Seattle is home to a plethora of thriving music genres growing here in the Pacific Northwest. One of the bands that are changing how traditional styles blend together is Northern Shakedown. Locally grown, these guys have been playing in the music scene since 2012.
Over the years, Northern Shakedown has been influenced by Hip-Hop, R&B, and traditional rock. If you’re looking for different, then their music is something you should give a listen to.
Having already released a handful of singles, Northern Shakedown is on the verge of releasing their second EP called “Vibrations” late this summer. They wanted to first give a sample of what they have been working on, releasing their single off the album, “Karma.”

“Karma” has influences of traditional rock and roll bands like Red Hot Chili Peppers and Kings of Leon. They have a heavy influence of hip-hop which goes well with the soulful basslines.
