If you haven’t heard about NorthWestFest by now you should probably look into it. Seattle’s newest festival features a selection of rappers and DJs from the Pacific North West as well as three major headlining artists. Rapper Ty Dolla $ign and dance music producer, BARE, are the only two headliners announced so far and one more still has yet to be announced. For this particular event I’m excited because I will be attending with the RMR photo/video team doing what we do best, capturing the craziness that happens at North West festivals. Today I wanted to share some of my favorite songs that have been released by Ty Dolla $ign. My favorite type of music is definitely rap and all I really know about him is that he is a rapper/singer from California who has had plenty of hits alongside the rap industry’s biggest names. He’s signed to Atlantic Records as well as Wiz Khalifa’s Taylor Gang, and definitely knows how to make the ladies get a little ratchet. I’ve put together a quick 10 song playlist featuring some of his biggest hits in case you have absolutely no idea who this guy is.
If you’re a fan of Ty Dolla you’ve probably heard him on a bunch of tracks with Wiz Khalifa. He recently released this entire ‘Talk About it in the morning EP’ that was received fairly well by fans around the country. My favorite song was ‘Say No More’. Tweet us your thoughts @RespectMyRegion!
