GG #4 is a great strain by itself. Vino OG is an intriguing and rare strain that hits just as hard as GG #4. What would happen if the two strains were bred together to create another strain? Phat Panda did that with the creation of the Gorilla Grapes strain.
The genetic combinations that Phat Panda comes up with are usually really good. I was hoping for similar results with this strain. The artwork on the container immediately caught my eye before I even investigated the weed. Seated at a table with a plate of cookies in front of them are a gorilla and a lady in a white robe pouring a glass of wine.
Not only was the artwork on the jar really well done, but the weed looked excellent as well. A slightly sweet smell greeted my nose when I opened the jar. Each bud felt extremely dense, almost prickly in my hands. Green nugs with almost globs of trichomes fell into my hands. There weren’t really any orange hairs on any of the nugs, but based on the smell and presence of trichomes I did not feel worried.
I am not a fan of the flavor of the first hit from this weed. For me, it was almost too sweet and that is not what I expect when smoking weed. The high made up for it. I felt my shoulders immediately relax. As I continued to hit my bong I felt my shoulders melt back into my couch. My eyelids got extremely heavy.
Throughout the high, I experienced zero anxiety or paranoia about anything. I would recommend this strain to anyone regardless of experience level. Especially to anyone who needs to alleviate pain.
