Louisa's Cafe Seattle breakfast

PNW Food Junkie Review: Louisa’s Cafe

Louisa’s Cafe in Seattle’s Lake Union neighborhood is utterly amazing. The beautiful baked biscuits smothered in an andouille sausage gravy is something I could see myself potentially wandering a desert for…or driving through Seattle…any day of the week for. Not to mention, biscuits and gravy are the perfect hangover food.

Louisa’s Cafe – Biscuits and Gravy

My second visit was this past Saturday and I did not stray from my usual biscuits and gravy. The wife ordered a breakfast sandwich covered in the same gravy and it looked equally amazing. The staff sat three of us quick on a busy weekend day but the bar was moving equally fast and served a few Bloody Mary’s. Before I was able to let my eyes go toe to toe with my stomach I ordered a few backed goods, because well…they looked F***ing awesome. I’ll cosign the scones, apple cinnamon rolls, and leaving on a full stomach.
