Dope new video from Rockwell Powers and Dj Phinsey from their ‘Build’ project. Probably my favorite record off the project, and the video is shot by Tacoma-based filmmaker Peter Berkley (of The Art Dept).
“this video likens the work Phinisey and I do creating music to the work done by the craftspeople who build and repair bicycles and skateboards. Music, biking and skating are all about finding peace, escape, identity and freedom and this video is a tip-of-the-cap to those two other art forms. (big shouts to Tacoma shops 2nd Cycle and Grit City Grindhouse for letting us shoot in their space!)”
