Romaro Franceswa Is Back With "Kiss The Sky"

Stop Sleeping On Romaro Franceswa And Listen To New EP "Kiss The Sky"

One of Seattle’s top hip-hop artists, Romaro Franceswa, is back with the follow-up to his previous project, Mirror. His latest EP Kiss The Sky is an honest and uplifting project. Documenting the narrative of his growing success in the Pacific Northwest and beyond.

Franceswa is holding nothing back with Kiss The Sky in regards to its lyrical strength. He is showing no regrets for the amount of work, passion, and discipline he has put into his music over the years. In bold lines such as “This shit make you wanna get rich” in the track “Rich.”

In his opening track “Way Up,” Franceswa shares where he is at in his current standing in life, “People say they love me I have no faith in that.” His success and accompanying lifestyle are common themes heard throughout Kiss the Sky, with Franceswa proudly showcasing the gems of his success as a subtopic to most tracks.

Romaro Franceswa – Kiss The Sky

As the listener journeys through the seven tracks on Kiss The Sky, the arc of the changing soundscapes makes for a fresh, dynamic movement of sounds. Each track has a unique, individual sonic identity. The masterful production of the album makes for a cohesive, smooth listening experience when hearing the album chronologically.

Kiss The Sky is primarily produced by Warm Gun, with his production touching every track on the album. The project also includes production credits from Sango, Mello Papi, Sobaro, and Antwon Vinson.

The main production element that follows the album from start to finish is the hard-hitting kicks and 808’s. Followed closely with the large backing and lead synth work, heard in varying doses through each track. Overall, the production is smooth, hard, and crisp, yielding an album that should be noted for its strong attention to detail and clean, high-quality sound.

After listening through Kiss The Sky several times, early stand-out tracks are  “Way Up,” “Chips,” and “Like This.” Kiss The Sky is best experienced as an EP to hear chronologically the whole way though. Overall, I would describe it as a catchy, fun listen with stand-out production and memorable lyricism. Buy Kiss The Sky on your preferred platform below.
