Scattered throughout downtown Portland and the surrounding neighborhoods are some delicious food cart pods. These usually occupy parking lots or empty sidewalks and The Alder Street food cart pod is one of the best. They serve a variety of delicious food from across the globe.
Before taking in The Thesis show at Kellys Olympian, I recommend heading over the Alder Street food cart pod. Having lived in Portland for a bit, I spent a lot of time here enjoying a variety of food. While this food cart pod is a bit further away from the venue, it does offer some of the best variety possible.
Go prepared with an empty stomach as these food carts don’t mess around with portion sizes. You are in for a deal when it comes to a price as well. Your most difficult decision will be deciding what you want to eat.
