La (Language Arts) Performing Live at The Seattle World Tour

La (Language Arts) is an artist that has made his name around the 206 with freestyle battles and a catalog of golden age hip-hop. We’re stoked to have him joining us for The Seattle World Tour on Thursday, January 11th at The Rendezvous in Belltown.

While there isn’t a ton of recent music easily accessible online, those who have been around the scene know the name. I dug up a visual for “Golden Gun” which was released a little over a year ago with producer Marcus D. If you’re not familiar with his solo bodies of work you may have caught him on Sam Lachow’s popular Young Seattle Part II alongside an all-star cast of spitters.

“That’s why I got juice in the 6 like Hersey Hawkins, played a couple games and I quit like Percy Harvin”

If you ask Taylor, La’s 2010 debut release Gravity should be a staple in any collection of Seattle hip-hop. He collaborated with Def Dee (now known as Dom Sicily) to produce an album of pure, raw hip-hop.
