Seattle’s Champ

Well we all have heard, hopefully, the new Mike Champoux single “1988” (If not, you can view it below). I have been listening to Mike for about three years now. From the first song I heard, “Where Do We Go” to the most recent, he has come a very long way. Mike always impresses me with every song he releases. “In The Clouds” was, in my opinion along with other listeners, something put together by someone who has accomplished perfecting words to beats.

Now with his next album releasing in just 9 days, this guy seems to have stepped his game up yet again! From performing at Raw Space with fans singing along, with hands raised in the air cheering for more, to colleges with people overflowing the rooms, Mike Champoux is just starting the beginning the rest of his life as a Northwest phenomenon.

After asking fans, listeners, and followers their opinion of his music, the feedback was extraordinary! “He writes from the heart. What he has experienced, his challenges, and following his dreams. What he wants in the future and what is going on in his life right now.” says one listener.

“He is extremely talented. A hometown driven artist, who focuses mainly on his origin of establishment. And he is starting to branch out which will eventually lead him to success.” says Darian Conklin out of Washington D.C. “I also think his ability to be very musically, and not just lyrically, sound is a huge advantage. ”

Its the feedback such as this that keeps an artist motivated. To keep his fans interested and wanting more! The ladies love him, and the fellas want to be him. So now as we all are left in great suspense for the release of “The Application”, we are all putting in the earbuds, turning up, and jamming out to the latest work of art of Seattle’s one and only Champ.
