North Carolina to Northwest transplant, Seven Da Pantha, is a name that’s been dropped quite a few times to me as of late. I’m a fan of the lineage of North Carolina hip-hop acts and was pleasantly surprised to find Seven, aka Young Bunchy Carter, carrying that torch.
The visual is a little ‘meh’ but the substance in the record is all the way there. Seven shows the Northwest what hip-hop is supposed to sound like on ‘Not Like Me.’
