This Tangelo strain from Orgrow came in the form of an ethanol hash oil extraction. EHO’s are Orgrow’s specialty, and this honeycomb crumble is an excellent way to experience Tangelo.
Tangelo is a strain whose genetics is unclear. There are strain profiles for both Tangelo and Tangelo Kush all over the internet. Two popular cannabis strain websites, Leafly and Allbud have differing ideas about what it is. But one says Tangelo Kush and Tangelo are the same strain, while the other specifically states they’re different.
Regardless of the genetics, this strain has a prominent orange and citrus terpene profile. This EHO honeycomb is a sticky crumble that is workable, almost like Play-Doh. It was easy to smash a ball onto my dab tool, small, medium, or large. This pale-yellow crumble isn’t special to look at, but the smoke is clean and full of flavor.
Each dab taste like candy. It’s hard to describe the mix of citrus, orange, lime and floral notes, but this stuff made me a believer in ethanol-based concentrates.
