Right before Paradiso, Respect My Region was contacted by Terravita’s team for a quick interview and to set up a live-stream out at The Wreckage stage.
Having only seen Terravita perform at Safe In Sound this last fall, I was unfamiliar with their music prior to the performance at Paradiso. Their set was one of my favorites because of the crowd’s energy and I am beyond pumped for the next performance here in the Northwest.

Britt and I were lucky enough to catch up with them after their set where we discussed the bass-capital competition between Seattle and Colorado, as well as what separates Terravita’s music from other artists.
Northwest #bassfam received a major shoutout for selling out the most recent Safe In Sound festival 2 whole weeks in advance and both members of Terravita also couldn’t help but mention that our crowd was head-banging from start to finish while Colorado’s was not.
It was also really interesting to learn that Terravita tests unreleased music all the time to figure out what they actually want to use as singles or as parts of official projects. They feel that this helps them stand out because they never release music that they don’t actually like or enjoy, keeping the passion and creativity always consistent. If their fans don’t like it, they don’t release it.
