Edibles Activities

Things To Do Once You’re High on Edible Weed (Pt. 2)

Imagine you have cleared your schedule for the day and decided to eat some weed edibles. You’ve already planned out an enjoyable day in a comfortable environment and have friends that decided to join you on this adventure, but now what?

Here are some activities you can do while high on cannabis-infused foods. These activities should enhance your experience and make your day or night, a fun one.

#1 Watch a movie.

Being high on edibles gives you more of a body high so watching a movie is usually perfect for those that don’t want to leave the couch.

Depending on the movie, you might feel like you’re one of the characters or more relatable to one. Cannabis is known to help people see and understand the bigger picture. I always recommend stoner classics or comedies so that someone can laugh their ass off during their high.

#2 Go on a hike or exercise.

Sometimes being couch-locked isn’t what people are looking for when it comes to cannabis.

Getting out and going on a hike can be some of the most inspirational and enjoyable experiences. Nature is beautiful and when you are high on edibles, you tend to notice mother nature’s gems from a different perspective.Edible ActivitiesWhen I can find the time to get away from CWU, I enjoy a nice walking trail with a surprise at the end. My favorite hikes in the Northwest always have some kind of waterfall.

When eating edibles,  I’ve noticed I become much more aware of my body. I’m able to pay more attention to my heartbeat, breathing and I even am starting to enjoy that burning feeling you get in your muscles after a great workout.

Edibles can give you the right incentive to do that workout challenge you have been staring at for months. Whatever you decide to do, make sure to not push yourself too hard and remember to stay hydrated. Cannabis and working out is best served in the form of CBD

#3 Create some art.

If you find yourself not wanting to spend hours watching movies or maybe you’re not feeling active enough to step outside, then this is an excellent option for you.

Bring out your inner Bob Ross. Bust out those old crayons or colored pencils and pull out the paint and brushes. Get extra creative and use string, buttons, and rhinestones to complete one of Pinterest’s many DIY projects. Edible Activities

Also, you don’t need to just use any plain old canvas. Be innovative and paint a mural on a wall in your home (with permission) or use chalk and create a piece of art on your sidewalk in the front of your house.

Channel your inner artist and become a visionary.

#4 Don’t do anything.Edible Activities

Sometimes just relaxing and doing absolutely nothing is okay. This gives you a sense of meditation and lets you get the chance to clear your mind.

Meditating is known to decrease stress levels and boost your immune system. It can help with getting rid of depression and anxiety. Cannabis has been known to help with all of these as well. Put the two together and you have created a recipe for balance in your mind.

It is perfectly okay to close your eyes and submerge yourself in deep thought.

#5 Try new foods or recipes.

The other day, I was baked off of some edible candies and got the munchies pretty bad.

I ended up spending some time in my kitchen and came up with a recipe I will keep forever. I made homemade creamy chicken noodle soup and am proud of this new creation of mine.Edible ActivitiesJust to make sure that my soup was the best ever and I wasn’t trippin’, I made enough for three of my neighbors. They loved my recipe and the feedback was amazing!

Take it from my experience and get in the kitchen. Put together leftovers and build a divine dish. Tweak an old recipe but just make sure it’s not your grandma’s. You might try watching The Food Channel and whipping up something as if you were in a Chopped competition.

Just make sure to be safe with sharp objects and remember to pay attention to whatever you are doing. In other words, don’t burn the house down trying to be Chef Bobby Flay.

Hopefully, my tips for edible activities keeps you entertained.
