Today we would like to announce and show you our brand new blog. We want to welcome all of our friends, family, and fans. We are excited to expand and show you all what we have been working on.
With the launch of the new website and blog, we want to encourage the RMR community to view what we have on the site, and to comment, like, and tweet anything and everything that you enjoy. We really appreciate all of the support and know that we can only grow as big as our fan base takes us. You truly are the backbone to our company, and we do it all for you.
We would also like to announce a few other things at this time. We have a few things in the works right now that haven’t been announced and not many people know about.
First, we want to welcome Issac Lanier (Ike) to the team. He will be helping us in multiple ways, but mainly he will be working on marketing and sales, along with some research and development groups. So welcome Ike, it’s good to officially get you going.
Second, we are about to put in an order for some silicone wristbands and some hats. They will be 1 inch thick and have Respect My Region on them with our logo. Along the same lines as the “I <3 boobies” wristbands from Zumiez. Right now they look like they will be going on sale for around $4. Ike presented us with this idea, and we thought it was a good little item that would help get our name out to customers in a cost effective way. They will be available in black, white and green. The hat design has changed quite a bit, but we don’t want to spoil it so it’s gonna be a big surprise for people!
Also, we will be producing/sponsoring a mix tape of Northwest hip-hop artists. This tape will be solely launched on the website when it is completed for free, and all costs will be absorbed by the RMR crew. The goal is to unite the Northwest and provide a mix tape that will help promote all artists from this region. We are still gathering artists and ironing out details, but we will keep you updated with who is added to the lineup.
