We’ve had a crazy past few months at Respect My Region. With almost 300 articles posted in 3 months, the grind has been real. The Seattle music scene has also had some serious momentum. A lot of people are putting in work and our inbox has been full.
I try to stay up on everything but it’s tough. I really really hate these newspapers and higher media outlets ‘best of’ playlists and feel it’s important to continue to release our version. A version focused on showcasing what is actually dope and from this region.
It’s not just about you, it’s not just about your boy’s music. It’s about the scene and I want to give a full introduction to our region’s top hip-hop talents. If at any point you feel we missed the bars or haven’t heard something dope, please send it this way.
