Washington's Best Weed According to Jordan Zenisek

Washington's Best Weed Strains Ft. Dutch Treat, Super Lemon Haze, and

Over the past year, I have visited many of our state’s pot shops and talked with staff to learn which products could really be called Washington’s Best Weed. To learn more, I connected with ten of the most trustworthy industry experts and today, I’m excited to shed some light on their top cannabis brands, farms, strains, and products in Washington.

I started off by asking each expert to name their top three farms and favorite strains that make up their list of Washington’s best. From there, we talked about who they think produces the best oils and extracts before ending the discussion with their favorite cannabis-infused edibles and drinks.

Since this list features Washington’s best cannabis, I’m going to break it up into a weekly spotlight. This first week features Seattle Weekly co-budtender of the year, Jordan Zenisek. Check out her responses and let us know what you think about her selections in the comments below.

Best Cannabis Farms

I love Treehawk Farms, I haven’t smoked a strain from them that I don’t like. Their Dutch Treat and Chocolate Thai are two strains I could smoke all day. I like Gold Leaf because they’re the closest we can get to organic, which I prefer no pesticides and chemicals. I love their Tangie, Chernobyl Lime, and Purple Punch. I love Skord! Their Sour Tangie and Nightmare Cookies are so tasty. So is their Strawberry Fields. I love the quality products they put out. Their flower and concentrates are hands down some of my favorites.

Best Weed Strains

Top 3 strains: Dutch Treat, I love the taste and high that I get from a good Dutch. I could literally smoke this strain all day, I’m pretty sure if I was a strain I would be Dutch Treat. I also love Super Lemon Haze. Limonene is my favorite terpene and so anything with that lemony citrus zest to it is my favorite. I also love sour diesel. I smoke sativa strains all day to be productive and these are all strains that help me stay active, focused, and upbeat throughout my day.

Best Processors & Favorite Product

I love Refine’s Loud Resin. The small difference between loud and live resin really does make a difference. Extracting the plant when it’s at its ‘loudest’ brings out the most terpenes and flavor which is what I’m all about! I also love Oleum, their Honey Crystal and THCA Wizard Stones are some of my favorite concentrates in the market. I love the flavor of the honey crystal and the potency of the Wizard Stones. Skords Sugar wax is some of the best oil in the market. If you’re lucky enough to find a shop that carries it, swoop some. They have some of the most flavorful oil out there.

Best Cannabis-Infused Food & Drink

I really enjoy the Honu Coconut snowballs. They are delicious! Happy Apple makes the perfect after work drink. Very refreshing after a long hot day. Made with Washington Organic Apples, yummy. Zoots 30mg blasts are another favorite of mine. Whenever I need a burst of energy, those are perfect. I also go to a lot of concerts, and these are the perfect edible for concerts because they don’t make you sleepy, they actually give you energy!
