San Francisco rapper Watzreal took us back with his lyric video Nostalgia featuring Gift of Gab from the legendary group Blackalicious, and back up vocals by Love P Joie. Coming off of his album released last year THE: The Human Experience, this song does indeed pull at those nostalgic heart strings.
The video uses creative typography mixed with images of the emphasized words. You can hear, and feel the longing for the simpler days of Watzreal’s youth. Listing throwbacks like Boy Meets World, Gushers, and when songs had Nate Dogg. The beat, produced by Tone Jones, takes you back to the days of drop tops, perms, and curls.
