42 Dugg is back with a new single titled “Palm Angels In The Sky.” The Detroit-based rapper saw his career take off in 2019. Dropping singles such as “Dog Food,” “The Streets,” and “Tripping;” he’s built a place for himself in the game. With his latest single, he’s turning up as he’s showing no signs of stopping anytime soon.
With “Palm Angels In The Sky,” 42 Dugg delivers punchline after punchline on the bounce-heavy single. From start to finish, he raps over a beat that mainly features hi-hats with kicks underneath. The mid-range portion of the track including the addition of other instruments is minimal. Even so, his lyrical content drives the song throughout.
In the music video, he can be seen doing moves in his whip to flashing large amounts of cash. While there is different messaging in the video, it’s clear that he’s representing his lifestyle through these things – even by doing moves on the street in his ATV. He’s turning up and finding his place in the game. With him dropping a new single and video, he’s expected to keep making big moves with new music in the future as well.
