Aloe Blacc Is Heating Up The Summer With J.I.D On “Getting Started (Hobbs And Shaw)”

Aloe Blacc has dropped a new single withJ.I.D titled “Getting Started (Hobbs & Shaw).” While this is a rather surprising collaboration, both artists come through big time on the track. The new single was created to headline the new film Hobbs and Shaw, which fans consider to be an extension of the Fast and Furious franchise.

What’s unique about this release is that it was one of the tracks competing on NBC’s new reality competition show, Songland. An aspiring songwriter, Kyle Williams, pitched the track to the panel of judges alongside Aloe Blacc and Hobbs and Shaw director, David Leitch, ultimately winning the movie soundtrack placement.

On the new release, Aloe Blacc showcases his versatile range throughout his multiple parts throughout the song. J.I.D also does his thing as his verse displays fast flows combined with creative rhythmic patterns. The heavy bass line of the instrumental also supports these varying components throughout.

While many fans can imagine many different collaboration teams for these two artists, the unlikely pairing pays off heavily. As a result, they have delivered a single that is the perfect vibe for not just the new film, but for the entire summer.
