Otieno Terry Releases Socially Conscious Single “American Dreams”

Originally, Otieno Terry released a rough version of his song “American Dreams” on the night of Donald Trump’s election. Now he’s refined and re-released the song with an in-studio video to follow.

A different side than we normally see, the song is short, sweet, and poetic. “I want to tell my baby no fear, but I don’t believe it. Not around here. Cause every man wanted land to rule it, but no man is gonna rule my world.” You can hear the heartbreak in Otieno’s voice as he touches on the state of society in today’s America.
