Andre Kane has surfaced with his first debut single “Molly” with a movie-esque offering to accompany it. With a mixture of down-tempo booms and baps over melodic dalliances Kane has come out the gate swinging with something thoughtful and provocative. A Seattle native, Kane seeks to show the city what he’s capable of doing both visually and musically. He’s finally got the dream team around him and he’s ready to make a splash.
Andre is stepping into the local scene with the mentality of exceeding expectations. Several people came together to get this song and video to completion. Kane lent gratitude to the video’s director Fuego Gatsby, a local shooter with some weight to his name, for making the vision come to life. He also lent heavy praise to Zuber Singh, Montelcaine, Discomfort Clothing, Brandon Meyers, Leia Beila Jewelry, and all the people that came to the shoot.
With this visual pairing for his single, “Molly,” Andre Kane sought to capture the true feeling of disassociation amidst the party scene. The music and story told within the video emphasize the notion of disconnection with life and how at times you feel numb to everything happening around you. See how Andre Kane dances with the light and dark side of a good time below in “Molly.”
