About Ari Lennox
Ari Lennox is an R&B singer/songwriter from Washington D.C. She joined J. Cole’s Interscope-affiliated label Dreamville in 2015 as the first female artist on the team. She had her commercial Dreamville debut in 2016 with her EP Pho.
Dreamville found Ari through a featured appearance on Omen’s “Sweat It Out” showcase. They quickly formed an alliance and have worked together ever since. Throughout 2018, Lennox was collaborating with labelmates Masego and Bas, releasing a number of tracks with the two musicians. In 2019, she released her first album, Shea Butter Baby, which hit the Billboard 200 chart at number 104.
