Lavender God, Debut Album by ATTLAS, Releases on mau5trap

Hot off the mau5trap press comes ATTLAS’ debut album, ‘Lavender God’. Emotional, melodic music with a sprinkle of club-friendly beats encompass this diverse album. This is truly the epitome of ATTLAS and the music you’d expect to hear. But in a way, it’s much more than that. The Lavender God album is an emotional audio journey telling listeners a story.

The two lead singles off the album, “Hotel” and “Sinner Complicated” capture Lavender God’s diversity in a few ways. Both can be found in a club, with a steady and solid dancing rhythm. However, that is one of the only similarities between the two. “Sinner Complicated” is in a minor key so it’s dark and mysterious. “Hotel” is in a major key for most of the track and is light and bright.

In the album ATTLAS has three featured artists. Lambert, MAYLYN, and Alisa Xayalith of The Naked and Famous. All three artists have given a unique tone to each track they have been a part of on this album. Without them, their respective tracks simply wouldn’t be the same. The most notable out of the three is “Half Light” with Alisa Xayalith, the third and final single. The vocals are emotional and resonate with the listener just as much as the synths. The hook is so catchy it can reel the lightest of listeners. It’s the perfect track.
