On Thursday, May 23rd, 17-year-old artist Baby Drip released his latest viral hit “Ariana” featuring 20-year-old artist Zay. While they may be young, their chemistry on this track truly shows why they are the hottest artist duo coming out Iowa right now.
The Ariana Grande inspired track features an array of pop and r&b sounds that accommodate a melodic hook and hard-hitting rap lyrics. As a result, “Ariana” is a song that can set the mood for almost any occasion. Certainly, with its distinct and sound and memorable lyrics, “Ariana” will inevitably pop off on TikTok and other social media platforms.
Since opening for SmokePurpp back in February, Iowa natives Drip and Zay are starting to work with other notable names. They’re currently working with Xanarchy DJ Kinfolk Jon and have had their music reposted by Lil Xan on SoundCloud.
Furthermore, Drip and Zay have achieved all of this working exclusively with one producer from ESD Studios, The Cubist. They’ve also made great strides with the help of Ty Cutta, who manages and mentors the duo. He is also a well-seasoned manager who works in partnership with Lil Xan’s manager, Stat Quo
Above all, Drip and Zay are making great strides as young artists. For accomplishing so much at such young ages, Drip and Zay will surely be big stars.
