4 Bass Heavy Mixes That Are Lowkey Dank As Fuck

With festival season right around the corner, the questions on everyone’s mind are simple. Will the coming months turn in our favor and allow us all to safely rage again? Will we finally be able to “rage face” to bass heavy mixes from our favorite world class DJs in the flesh and with friends?

We don’t know what the next month or so will reveal just yet but, our team has curated a few bass heavy mixes that should get you stoked for whatever the future holds. Here are 4 DJ mixes that are guaranteed to help you through anything between now and your next festival experience.

4 Bass Heavy Mixes You Need In Your Life

VRG – “LOCKED IN 2021”

This artist on the rise hails from Boardman, OR has been delivering a punch that makes you feel that juicy BASS! In 2020, VRG excelled with making each release even more powerful than the last. That means February might have been a little cold but, at least we have the heat given off by his new mix “Locked In 2021” to keep nice and warm. This set is full of unreleased music VRG has in store for 2021.

Pixel Terror “PIXEL TERROR AND PALS VOL XII”

These two have been killing the BASS scene mixing the likes of video game glitches with disrespectful 808 drums! Their mix series “Pixel Terror and Pals” has become super popular amongst my fellow bass-heads. A track-list released on Instagram and was riddled with IDs from themselves and many of the artist homies. The latest mix “vol 12” is guaranteed to be completely bananas to say the least.

Slick “SLICKO MODE VOL 3”

Slick really lived up to his name when naming his mix series. Admittedly, I was confused if his name was “Slick” or “Slicko”at first. Needless to say, from now on I’ll definitely remember his name after hearing the massive amount of slappers my ears were witness to on his new Mix “Slicko Mode vol 3”.

What’s interesting about this one is just when you think you know what’s coming on a remix you have heard before, BOOM, he throws a damn good variation edit in there that fits the song but in an entirely new way. The name Slick and the series name SLICKO MODE is dope and also well deserved.

Yvng Jalapeno “THE SPICE RACK II”

We’ve found the cure to put some spice in your life! Giving you the kick in the ass that you need to kill it every day. It’s the experimental bass sizzler Yvng Jalapeno and his new mix “The Spice Rack II”.

With new music galore and a vibe that enacts the repetitive thought of “I have no idea what this is but I love it” attitude, then this is the mix for you. Considered by most as an up and comer smashing into the scene, he has an already identifiable sound and support from the likes of ‘Boombox Cartel’ and the fam here at Respect My Region
