BBD Yella And Finesse Gang Kliff Drop Some Nostalgic Heat With Their Track New "Tommy Pickles"

BBD Yella and Finesse Gang Kliff Drop Nostalgic Heat with New Track “Tommy Pickles”

As we close out the year, artists are making their final push to drop new music and generate more buzz going into the New Year. Hitting us with some new music today is BBD Yella and Finesse Gang Kliff with their track “Tommy Pickles.”

BBD Yella always stands out with his music. Living up in the PNW but being from Arkansas, his sound has been influenced by a different upbringing. He brings more of that Southern street energy to his music in a state that is big on vibey/melodic hip-hop. His latest track, “Tommy Pickles,” reminds me of some Juicy J vibes with the way Finesse Gang Kliff hits the chorus in that choppy/segmented flow.

“I Keep That Baby Bottle With Me Like I’m Tommy Pickles”

BBD Yella knows how to have balance with his music in order to keep things fresh for his fans. His previous release, “Tough Love,” is one of those therapeutic tracks where Yella looks back on the struggles of his past. But keeping that balance with this latest drop, “Tommy Pickles” is an energetic hood anthem that will get people off the porch and moving.

The beat for this track isn’t necessarily a trunk thumper like a lot of Yella’s other music, but it does have a quality about it that gets you bobbing your head up and down as you listen. There’s also some violin in the background that wasn’t noticeable at first. But, once noticed, it quickly became one of my favorite elements of the song.

Is this a new favorite for you from BBD Yella? Check it out below and let us know in the comments. A couple other notable tracks he has released this year are “Yella” and “Off Da Porch.”
