Berry Pie Strain by Cookies & Seed Junky Genetics: Flavor-Packed Sativa-Dominant Hybrid

Cookies’ Berry Pie strain has earned the reputation of being a flavor-packed strain with a smooth as silk smoking experience. The sativa-dominant hybrid was bred by a collaboration between Cookies and the famous Seed Junky Genetics. The two breeders selected Blueberry and Girl Scout Cookies as the parent strains, resulting in a sweet, fruity flavor palette worthy of the Berry Pie name.

Berry Pie Strain

Berry Pie’s parent strains pass down qualities to both the appearance and experience of the strain.

Firstly, Blueberry is an indica-dominant cross between Purple Thai and Thai. The strain has achieved legendary status in the industry for its sweet flavor profile and potent effects. The blueberry flavor comes through in the Berry Pie.

Girl Scout Cookies is another legendary strain within the industry, perhaps even one of the most popular strains of all time. The parent strain is a cross between OG Kush and Durban Poison. The strain produces a potentially euphoric high followed by full-body relaxation, similar to the high in the Berry Pie.

Berry Pie Appearance

Berry Pie has long, chunky nugs that look like they were dipped in sugar. In fact, the layer of white crystal trichomes is so dense that you can hardly see the light green color of the flower. The Cookies strain also contains fiery orange hairs throughout.

Berry Pie gives off a super pungent aroma. Notes of sugar, cream, and fruit waft from the nugs right after opening the container. The sweet smell is similar to fresh blueberry waffles.

The strain’s aroma comes from its dominant terpene: caryophyllene. Caryophyllene has anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, antibacterial, and antioxidant properties. The terpene has a strong ability to interact with receptors in the brain responsible for the non-psychoactive benefits of THC. Caryophyllene can potentially help relieve anxiety and pain, reduce cholesterol, prevent Osteoporosis, and treat seizures.

Berry Pie Experience

Berry Pie’s flavor is just as delicious as its aroma. Users will be able to detect the sharp, fruity flavor on the inhale with notes of earth and sugar on the exhale.

The strain contains about 25% THC with classically sativa effects. Users may experience a potentially euphoric and energizing high that still allows you to retain focus. One Leafly user stated that, “the high makes me feel like I could be a stripper. I feel confident and euphoric. Calm but capable of exerting energy.”

The effects of the Berry Pie strain make it a great option for a wide variety of activities. A potentially perfect daytime strain, users may find that they get more enjoyment out of mundane tasks than usual after smoking.

Berry Pie’s recreational benefits are outshined by its medicinal potential. Berry Pie may be helpful in aiding to treat health issues such as depression, fatigue, chronic pain, and anxiety.
