Edibles are the most health-conscious choice when it comes to consuming cannabis. However, even though you’re avoiding toxins in your lungs, you may not be avoiding processed ingredients and high quantities of sugar that could also affect your health. With so many THC-infused, sugar-loaded treats on the market, finding healthy options may seem impossible. That is until you learn about one of Respect My Region’s favorite edibles, Betty’s Eddies.
Betty’s Eddies Fruit Chews
Betty’s Eddies is a health-conscious, craft cannabis brand specializing in all-natural edibles that are vegan, gluten-free, and dairy-free. Forget those ultra-sweet edibles packed with processed ingredients; discover a new edible experience with Betty’s Eddies’ cannabis chews made with real fruits and veggies. These aren’t your common THC gummies, but rather a taffy-like chew. Unlike other edibles on the market, these don’t stick to your teeth long after swallowing, nor do they leave an unsettling cannabis taste in your mouth.
Our CEO Mitch Pfeifer describes it as “kinda like a Starburst, but not as chewy. Really good texture.” He explains that he could mostly taste the fruit flavor and not much cannabis.
Alongside all-natural ingredients, their chews contain full-spectrum cannabis, lending the treats strong cannabinoid and terpene profiles. Additionally, the chews contain herbal supplements and vitamins, making for an unmatched experience unlike anything else on the market. The benefits go beyond just what cannabis has to offer, extending to the medical value of ingredients like turmeric, elderberry, zinc, Vitamin C, Vitamin D3, and more.
Custom-formulated blends for different occasions and ailments
Depending on the flavor, you may find natural vitamins and/or supplements companioning the carefully dosed blend of cannabinoids. This addition assists the cannabis in targeting specific ailments and situations. For example, the cherry ‘Ache Away Eddies‘ contains turmeric, piperine, and Vitamin E in addition to CBD, THC, and CBC, thus aiming to help relieve pain and inflammation. Similarly, the pineapple orange ‘Take It Easy’ chews contains chamomile, L-theanine, and passionflower, alongside THC, CBG, and CBDV, to help with stress relief and relaxation. Conversely, the watermelon ‘Go Betty Go’ flavor contains THC and THCV with a boost of caffeine for energy as well as L-theanine to balance the effects. They also have flavors created for pleasure, immunity, sleep, and anytime.

Made with lots of love
Not to mention, all of their products are handcrafted in small batches; quality and care are at the forefront of their operation. And after chatting with their co-founder Ryan Crandall on our podcast, we can attest that the people behind Betty’s Eddies are committed to providing you with the best and safest edible experience possible. From the operations to the final product, everything is done with love and a true passion for cannabis and health.
Our Favorite East Coast Edibles
Betty’s Eddies has won an array of awards, like Best-Selling Medical Product via Leaflink, Best Edible via Reddit Sparkie Awards, Edible of the Year via Explore Maryland, and more. Thus, to say the least, we were very excited to get a taste of these chews. And they sure made an impression, enough to make our list of the Best Edibles in North America in 2022. Though we’re loyal to our local cannabis scenes in Washington State and California, we always look forward to a trip to the East Coast to get our hands on Betty’s Eddies products.
While everyone has their own tastes, three of us here at Respect My Region have touted Betty’s Eddies as some of our favorite edibles of all time. Our co-founders Mitch and Joey tried the strawberry ‘Betty Good Times’ and cherry ‘Ache Away’ while in town for Boston Cannabis Week, while I got my hands on the caffeine-infused watermelon flavor while passing through Massachusetts. These products are also available in Maryland, Maine, Rhode Island, and Delaware.
“What a delicious snack. I predict these will be one of the best-selling edible brands in the United States eventually. Absolutely phenomenal.”
