RMR's Saturday Schedule for Cap Hill Block Party

Capitol Hill Block Party: Day 2 Schedule | Respect My Region

Saturday at Capitol Hill Block Party is going to be ten full hours of nonstop bouncing around. I have my selected artists to see but there are so many other intriguing acts that I know curiosity will get the best of me.

My schedule will start off at the main stage to see the soulful interstellar hip hop group Cosmos. A lot of funky music will be heard on day two. Including neo-funk duo Biddadat, who will be on the Barboza stage at 3:45. Originally from Idaho, the two found each other in the Seattle scene and have been creating high energy funk every since.

Some incredibly talented local cats will be gracing the different stages on Saturday. An intense visual performance, Manatee Commune will hit the main stage at 4:45. He may be electronic music, but his blend of live instrumentation and vibrant visuals makes his live set something for me to look forward to.

About 6 o’ clock, the most beautiful voice will take over the Vera stage. Saint Claire new project has an infectious vibe and just dropped a that I can’t wait to hear live! Going back to my hip hop comfort zone for some bohemian bars with All Star Opera on the Barboza stage.

Lizzo a powerhouse gospel rapper will be on the main stage at 7:30. I’ll be splitting her set up so that I can go down to Barboza for local duo Kung Foo Grip. A little birdie told me they might be giving us a glimpse into some new music.

I’m really excited to see Bengali inspired indie-electronic artist Jai Wolf. He’ll be on the main stage from 9-10, and during which I’ll be poppin into Neumos to catch bits of local rapper Grynch’s set. Good ol’ classic west coast hip hop, you can check out my write up on his newest album here. My night will end by hitting up the food truck rally right before dancing my ass off to Trippy Turtle!
