Respect My Region Bumbershoot 2018 Photo Recap

Respect My Region’s Bumbershoot 2018 photo recap will fill in those who couldn’t attend this year.

For those in the Seattle area, Bumbershoot festival is one of the most accessible large-scale events there is. I made the trip in under 30-minutes and found free parking both days. Uber, Lyft, and other forms of public transportation clear up the roads for drivers and severely cuts down on festival traffic. Inside the festival hordes of humans are soaking up the smoke-free sunshine. The city is active as summer transitions to fall, and Bumbershoot takes advantage of everyone’s three-day Labor Day weekend.

Bumbershoot put together one of its best lineups to date. It featured legends from our youths,  up and coming superstars, and everything in between. Highlights of the festival included T-Pain, who played the soundtrack of my high school years. Marian Hill and Chromeo scorching the Fisher Green stage. Black Pistol Fire electrifying the Mural Amiptheatre, Cold War Kids rocking their hits, and Travis Thompson proving why he’s one of Seattle’s brightest young spitters.
