Travis Scott Partners with Cannabis Cultivators to Create Cactus Farms

Travis Scott Partners with Connected Cannabis to Create Cactus Farms

Apparently hard seltzer wasn’t enough for him. Last week, Travis Scott expanded to a partnership with Connected Cannabis, a California cannabis cultivator. They dropped the big news Friday, introducing Cactus Farms.

Cactus Farms is Travis Scott’s first official stake in the American cannabis industry. They are revealing a new product line this week. On top of that, a new hybrid handpicked by Scott is being introduced.  Peyote Jack is an indica-dominant strain described by Connected Cannabis as dense and purple, with “a pungent, funky-sweet gas aroma rounded out by a unique berry twist.”

You can find this first Cactus Farm strain in California dispensaries with Connected Cannabis products. If you’re in/around Arizona, you’re also in luck. Harvest brand dispensaries are also selling Peyote Jack. By reports alone, this sounds like fire bud, but the Cactus Farm project is not exactly unique to Travis Scott’s recent moves, either.

This ASTROWORLD rapper, after essentially taking over the planet, has also been making quite a few partnerships. In fact, Connected Cannabis is in a rather pristine demographic as a partner of Travis Scott. In the past year, he has additionally teamed up with huge brands like McDonald’s and Playstation. Scott’s influence precedes him.

Connected Cannabis and Cactus Farms

Connected Cannabis was founded in 2009. Today, it’s a leading California brand providing affordable, high-quality products. Their work on Cactus Farms aligns with a closing of a $30 million capital raise. According to Connected Cannabis themselves, their goal is to further improve their cultivation techniques, as well as expand their presence nationwide. CEO Sam Ghods had more to say on the matter.

“We are steadfast in our development of new, best-in-class genetics and our production of top-quality flower that has resulted in impressive growth and unwavering customer loyalty,” he stated in a press release. “That same commitment and quality that we’ve prided ourselves on from day one will stay with us as we enter additional states. We look forward to bringing our true product and brand to consumers in new markets – that is our highest priority every time we look at expansion.”
