Camila Cabello Drops Low-Key Pop Banger “My Oh My” With DaBaby

It’s not often I find myself swooning over a pop release, but Camila Cabello and DaBaby came out throwing some heat with “My Oh My” from Cabello’s sophomore album Romance. We all know DaBaby knows how to have a good time, but the official music video for “My Oh My” shows off Cabello’s fun side as well.

The entire visual features an old-Hollywood backdrop and drips with a Quentin Tarintino luster and easily reminded me of Once Upon A Time In Hollywood or Kill Bill. The song features a devilishly haunting melody and supported by Camila’s amazing vocals and DaBaby’s swagger.

The video depicts and actress breaking female stereotypes and becoming the heroine of her story, represented from switching roles from damsel in distress to being cast in “A DaBaby Scope Production: La Bonita Blade.” The modern sound production creates an entertaining contradiction to the black and white visual style.

Like any great pop banger, the chorus is catchy and stuck in my brain like glue. DaBaby’s verse brings come crispy bars that might make even the purest of hip-hop heads steer away from their normal Spotify playlists, even if just for a listen or two.
