Chicago’s Finest, Chance the Rapper, announced that he will be releasing his new album this week. After a false alarm on Monday, he told the Chicago Tribune that he is releasing a new project soon. Although, it’s not for certain how it will be distributed. Regardless, it’s his latest installation since Coloring Book in 2016 without discrediting Merry Christmas Lil Mama. It is not unusual for Chance to release free projects, seeing his record history. Not to mention, his last project became the first streaming album to win a Grammy.
Is it possible that we finally get a Chance and Gambino collaboration? With playlists already filled this summer, it won’t be too hard for Chance to make another break. Especially considering his involvement with the community by donating to local schools and helping children with developmental disabilities this year at the Special Olympics. Reshaping societies perspective of Chiraq and fostering love through his music, he’s showing the youth that there is more than violence and hate in the city.
Watch Open Late With Peter Rosenberg And Chance the Rapper Below:
More recently, a couple months back Chance spoke with Peter Rosenberg about the new project and working with Kanye in Wyoming. Stating in the video around six to 14 tracks and hinting that it will be produced by Kanye West. Regarded as one of the most outspoken artists towards the music industry and his anti-establishment feelings towards labels, he has grown beyond those obstacles. Keep your lids open for the link, as the project could drop at any moment!
