To be honest I didn’t know Chase Henny was an artist until last week. I’ve seen his name all over social media and flyers around town, but I was truly lacking. I would suggest you take this opportunity to not be like me and check out his new music video ‘Wrong.’
The Northwest has a severe lack in the RNB department. We’ve had our share of talented vocalists, but we have yet to see an artist that speaks to this generation’s RNB fan. Drake, Tiller, Post, and others have been shaping a new sound for some time now.
Chase Henny fits in this void for Seattle. During a recent RMR meeting, Taylor put me onto some new records. He has a sound that is a remincisnt blend of the before mentioned artists but Chase lives more in his own lane. I’m stoked we have a guy putting out this style of music that speaks to our region. Get familiar, Chase is going to make moves this year. With shows lined up in LA and Hawaii this year, Chase Henny is going to take the music on the road. We’ll be rooting from home!
