After dropping his latest album Heartbreak on a Full Moon, Chris Brown has released the visuals to his song “Hope You Do” that displays his classic dance moves paired with powerful and dramatic vocals. The restraint for large effects amplifies the overall feel and style of the video, as Brown showcases his dancing over everything else.
While Chris Brown is known for having high budget videos, the simplicity showcased in the new visual is a huge contrast to what we have seen previously. Throughout the entire video, everything is filmed in only two different locations. The first is at an abandoned building while the second is in a large tunnel. The most interesting quality is that the video is black and white, which forces the viewer to follow the dancing rather than the actual setting where everything takes place.
Over the course of his career, Chris Brown’s dancing and singing have only improved over time and his latest video for “Hope You Do” proves it even more.
