Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival is slated to make its highly-anticipated return to the California desert this April. The mega festival takes place on two separate weekends – April 15-17 and April 22-24 – at Empire Polo Club in Indio, California. While other 2022 festival lineups have been impressive, no festival bill quite compares to the variety of talent that Goldenvoice brings together year after year. They not only hit nearly every genre, but they book almost all the top names in each musical niche.

In 2022, Coachella Valley will see performances from some of the most prominent and impactful artists in the world. Headlining the festival are Harry Styles, Billie Eilish, and Ye, three of the most acclaimed musicians of our generation. In addition to the main headliners, Swedish House Mafia will be making their grand return to the desert. Moreover, 88rising’s Head in the Clouds Forever presents special performances each weekend.
Coachella 2022 Lineup
Hip-Hop
Though Coachella presents artists from all genres and all over the world, the renowned festival has a heavy focus on hip-hop. Aside from Ye, other rappers taking stage in the valley include Lil Baby, 21 Savage, Big Sean, Baby Keem, Megan Thee Stallion, BROCKHAMPTON, Run the Jewels, Doja Cat, Denzel Curry, Vince Staples, and so many more. If you’re more of an underground or emerging hip-hop fan, you’ll be excited to hear that Freddie Gibbs, Madlib, Maxo Kream, Griselda, Cordae, J.I.D, and Isaiah Rashad are also on the lineup.
Electronic
However, if you aren’t a hip-hop fan, there are still plenty of artists to enjoy at Coachella. This includes a spectrum of electronic music artists. With Swedish House Mafia leading the way, other A-list DJs taking stage include Flume, Louis the Child, Disclosure, and Dom Dolla. Additionally, other exciting EDM artists include Lane 8, Tchami, SLANDER, John Summit, Whipped Cream, Channel Tres, and so much more.
Rock, Pop, R&B, & More
Furthermore, the 2022 edition of Coachella will see artists across rock, pop, R&B, and nearly every subgenre between. This includes Ari Lennox, Phoebe Bridgers, Still Woozy, Joji, Jamie xx, Maggie Rogers, FINNEAS, and King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard. Additionally, emerging talent joining the Coachella lineup includes girl in red, Omar Apollo, The Hu, 100 gecs, and beabadoobee. You may also notice some TikTok names such as Måneskin, or even some throwback artists like Carly Rae Jepsen.
Art & Atmosphere
Aside from the absolutely stacked lineup, Coachella is widely known for the large-scale art installations spread throughout the venue. This year’s installations are created by artists such as Cristopher Cichocki, Do LaB, and Robert Bose. Additionally, the design and decorations throughout the venue and stages are top-notch.
Coachella 2022 Tickets
Weekend one tickets are no longer available. However, registration for the weekend two presale is currently open. Through this, you may receive a unique code to purchase passes starting January 14th at 10 am PST. Tickets are known to sell out fast, so stay on top of things! However, if you’re unable to attend, both weekends will be livestreamed on the festival’s official YouTube channel.
