Cookies continues to open several dispensaries around the world and create several top-notch strains, such as the new Blue Agave strain. Recently, one of the co-founders of RMR, Joey Brabo, got to try the strain and rated it honestly.

Blue Agave Strain Genetics
California cannabis brand, Cookies, strives to produce the highest quality products, cultivate exclusive genetics and share them with all the people who share a love for their grow. Being added to their arsenal of diverse strains is the hybrid Blue Agave strain. It is a cross of Orange Acai 7 and The Menthol, resulting in a potent flower. Additionally, the light green nugs have blueish hues and are covered in glistening white trichomes. Many speculate that the interesting blue color is potentially where the strain got its name.

The RMR Review
The particular pack of Cookies Blue Agave our co-founder tried on July 1st was packaged on April 25th, 2022. It contained 31.036% THC, which is on the higher end of the potency spectrum for flower. Joey has tried the smalls from Cookies before, but not the “big” buds, which in his opinion were still a little small, respectfully.
Breaking open the nugs for his joint, he said the nugs smelled like a potent drunken gelato. Smelling deeper in the grinder, he sensed funky, sour, and dairy notes. Almost four minutes into the review, Joey says the Blue Agave even tastes like gelato too.
“Cookies and their latest run of genetics and strains has been really impressive…It tastes like creamy, piney, and gassy weed. There’s a little spice too.”

For taste, Blue Agave scored a 9.3, for it’s smoothness and tasting like how it smells. For the effects, Joey said he felt a head change and a body high; ultimately, feeling energized. Overall, it was a terrific strain in his eyes, with an overall score of 94.5/100. The ash color being nice and light, the cure, moisture content, and the bud giving a healthy snap, all were in consideration for his final rating. All in all, it is true; Cookies really does create a premium cannabis experience time and time again.
