Berner has taken to social media as usual to announce the formal grand opening of his new Cookies dispensary in Woodland Hills, CA. The pictures he’s thrown up so far show an expansive sales floor with ample color and bright lighting. With this new location, he’s continuing to develop his experimental concept for the store’s layout.
Round flower tables are centrally located in the shop to give customers an immersive experience into their premier product selection. Beneath each flower table is all of their cartridges, edibles, pre-rolls, and other cannabis products.
The dispensary’s layout truly allows the customer to come in and personally interact with the products. Berner said in his Instagram post that “the round flower tables were designed to create a conversation between customers and budtenders.”

He feels like there’s too much pressure to buy when you’re up at the register and states that his style of displaying products is “way more personal than viewing a tv menu.”
His hope was for “people to see each other’s reactions when smelling the different flower(s) to share thoughts on stuff they have had in the past.”
Each of Berner’s Cookies stores fully empowers the customer experience. This location has a futuristic look that reminds me of a spaceship. You’ll notice sleek white and metallic surfaces accented by Cookies’ signature cyan blue.
The whole project came together from the efforts of several different powerhouses. Some of the partners he mentions include @weworking, @arrrmens, and @alll___1.
Berner and Cookies will be celebrating the grand opening of the attractive new location in Woodland Hills on July 17th. Despite the hindrances presented by COVID-19, Big Bern seems unstoppable as he continues to expand his Cookies empire.
