For fans unfamiliar with his music, he can be recognized by hits “No Bells” and “500 Horses.” Throughout the years he’s been in the game, his releases have been heavily consistent which speaks to his overall drive and focus.
With his new single “Perfect,” he showcases varying rhyme schemes combined with catchy punchlines. City Girls also features this quality in the feature, as the vocals fit comfortably over the hard-hitting yet at times distant beat.
The instrumental is rather different, which is refreshing. The mid-tempo beat features heavy 808’s mixed with other instruments in the same range. As a result, it creates a dark slow burning affect the entire way through.
